Standard-setting code; additional requirements: Difference between standard-setting institution and standard-setting organisation, considering that organisation should be viewed as process; Possibility of sustainability standards being applied in services and also in knowledge intensive industries; Concept relationship between standard relevance and policy relevance (considering the influence of corruption).
Additional criteria and the desired outcomes they are linked to: Promoting standards from credible sustainability policies derived from
strategy-as-practice.
Redundant or repetitive issues: The term social should not to include issues of economic viability. Issues are related to different but related "regions". Environmental and infrastructure region: Natural resources, urbanization and the ecological aspects; Critical infrastructure (namely communications, energy, transport, water and health) / Governance region: Institutions, government, leadership, policies and the rule of law / Social region: Human capital, health, the community and the individual / Economic region: Macroeconomic environment, goods and services market, financial market, labour market, sustainability and productivity. The expression "standard-setting processes" should be revised simply to "standard-setting".
Criteria to desired outcomes linking approach: A deeper organizational analysis should be conducted. The organizational analysis should take into consideration different alternatives of the organizational process, organizational constraints, risks and damages.
