Stratification is the distribution of a valued good in levels, or could be looked as the inequalities among individuals and groups. Weber determined that there are three levels of stratification and those include: property (economic class), prestige (status), and power (party). Property is related to control and ownership; prestige is the position that gains value determined by interactions with others; power is influence, relations, and position.
A estratificação é a distribuição de um bem valioso em níveis, ou poderia ser vista como as desigualdades entre os indivíduos e grupos. [Weber] concluiu que existem três níveis de estratificação, e que incluem: bens e direitos (classe econômica), prestígio (status) e poder (partido). Os bens e direitos estão relacionados ao controle e propriedade; prestígio é a posição que ganha valor, é determinado por interações com os outros; o poder é influência, relações e posição.
