Social report 2025


Simple report proposal for outcomes and risks of the Models in business groups in 2025. Formulation with content available in social report audits and report notes.


Performance indicators Opportunity for results. Incentive for registrations and participation in the Negócios em Promoção (Business in promotion) group, with the aim of developing information symmetry in all Models in business groups (LinkedIn and Facebook), including Projetos (Projects), Analytics, Scorecard.
Economic aspects Opportunity for results and risks.
Environmental aspects Opportunity for results and risks.
Risk management Effectiveness in publications: The importance of the risk fund for coordination in publications, in any period of operation of the control group - Models in business on LinkedIn. A relaxation of restrictions during the recess period (months of December, January and February, possibly in July) will still imply reserving the risk fund for the hypothesis of any forecast of remuneration, even for publications with fewer restrictions, for example, without expert review, without coordination with the communication agenda of the month, or only a single publication in the reference month. I believe I can state that the Models in business initiative is, or I aspire it to be, a platform that aims to be a reliable source of information about the value of models.

Throughout 2025, I have sought to continue promoting and encouraging this "vocation" of being a "platform that aims to be a reliable source of information about the value of models."

This November 2025, the last month before the break between December 2025 and February 2026, I invite you to help "close out this year."

I imagine we all believe that any model is merely a construct of reality.

It's possible that conflicting models, styles, and approaches to problems are feared. Shouldn't they be encouraged?

Are the best models yet to be created [or identified]? You yourself are capable of bringing them to reality.

Do you give yourself the necessary time to create a new [or find and apply a] model?

Developing, proposing, and presenting models in business is what sustains this initiative.

This publication involves knowledge about models in business and was produced to determine the impact value of communication of its content throughout the month of October 2025.

According to a text published by the UOL Portal on April 5, 2025: A study conducted by DHL in partnership with the New York University Stern School of Business (DHL Global Connectedness Report 2024), [...] indicates that global merchandise trade is expected to grow at a compound annual rate of 3.1% through 2029. The report highlights that countries such as India, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines are among those that will contribute most to this growth, reflecting the significant potential for trade growth in these regions. "With these two antagonistic forces, the trend is toward a more fragmented world, with more closed economic blocs and competition between economic and technological models."

Based on a query, Google's AI provided the following text on October 1, 2025: "[...] it is not appropriate or usual to classify countries according to a 'who needs whom' approach in international relations, as this oversimplifies the complexity of interactions between nations and other global actors. Instead, the field of International Relations seeks to understand interdependence, multiple interests, and cooperation between countries to address global issues such as peace, economics, and politics. [...]".

In September 2025, I invite you to answer the question: What is the impact value of a publication [or announcement] involving knowledge about models in business?

Please consider that models in business can apply to contexts other than companies or individual initiatives. First, consider concept models or conceptual models. I believe that developing a common language about concept models or conceptual models will greatly help identify proposals. Keep in mind that business models are just a specific category of models IN business. In the Models in business groups and initiative, we prioritize project management, balanced scorecards, and business analytics models (which include business intelligence, business performance management, and business process management).

If you publish or advertise on other platforms (such as Quora or academic and scientific forums, for example), take the opportunity to promote your work, considering the impact value of your publications, your content, and your proposals.

We concluded July 2025 with an assessment whose focus and objectives were: to perceive models as relevant instruments or devices; identify their use; and monitor and evaluate their consequences and results.

In August 2025, I invite you to conduct and socially communicate real-life experiences focusing on models in business. Experiences about the "urban world", products, services, or companies are always interesting. Also look for more comprehensive social experiences, perhaps even global; transterritorial or transnational, who knows?

This is a report on the activities of the groups and the Models in business initiative. See more information in the scheduled annual report.

In July 2025, I am cooperatively conducting an assessment. Before actions, conversations, activities, announcements, etc., the focus or objectives may be: perceiving models as relevant instruments or devices; identifying their use; and monitoring and evaluating their consequences and results.

Except for the Facebook group Models in business, the other groups are available on LinkedIn. Other groups on these social media platforms or elsewhere are occasionally monitored.

Code is being developed. Tests are being conducted with artificial intelligence and will be announced in due course.

The groups are relatively stable, with no major incidents. The Project management group continues to grow. The LinkedIn group Models in business remains restricted to technical messages and messages related to specific objectives. The Balanced scorecard and Business analytics models groups continue to receive administrative messages in English. The Business in promotion and Facebook Models in business groups remain dedicated to conversations.

This is an administrative message from the Models in business groups and initiative.

In 2024, I registered the assessment initiative midway through the annual period in July and also in the groups' and initiative's balance sheet. In March 2025, I mentioned the intention to conduct a new assessment with feedback from participants and interested parties on positive points and areas for improvement. How are the expectations and results of participants and interested parties and how do the groups and the initiative contribute to these expectations and results?

A relevant indicator to be observed throughout 2025 is the presentation of formal reports resulting from meetings for debates and assessment of model risks. The involvement and participation of schools in model risk meetings is welcome.

Happy New Year! 2025!

This is an administrative message from the groups and the Models in business Initiative.

I have prepared a preliminary version of the annual [and social] report of the groups and the initiative (available at < http://www.ilanet.com.br/cgi-local/portal/bin/view/Express/ModelsInBusiness2025?skin=print.pattern >).

It is expected that this page will receive contributions of results from all interested participants of the groups and the initiative.

The table at the beginning of the page is structured in strategic perspectives.

The rules in the groups remain stable. Throughout the year I will try to provide a summary of these rules.

Knowledge about managing models IN business continues to advance and arouse interest. The benefits of making valuable common knowledge explicit, however, still tend to be hidden or treated with restrictions.

I wish everyone an excellent year. The year-end message is scheduled for December 1. 2025.

The evaluation of initiatives, activities and outcomes is scheduled for July 2025.
